Joseph A. Reddy

Joseph A. Reddy, 86, Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born January 15, 1924, in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of Joseph Patrick and Lillian (Morgan) Reddy. He served in the Navy Air Corps during WW II. He graduated from Columbia University with a Masters in education. He then taught for 3 years. After that, he was a traveling editor for College Publishing for over 20 years. He was married to Sharon M. Huff on July 22, 1989, and she survives. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 9 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2011, at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Nathan Berkheimer officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Decatur County Hospice or American Cancer Society.
