Jerry B. Lee

Jerry B. Lee, 67, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born, March 7, 1943 in Orange, Indiana, he was the son of Everett Eugene and Clara Alma (Rankin) Lee.  Jerry married Patricia M. Land on March 25, 1961 and she survives.  He joined the Army National Guard in 1962 and was active until being honorably discharged in 1968. Jerry ran the carpentry shop at Delta Faucet where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 129 in Greensburg. Jerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Jerry is survived by his wife; Patricia, 2 daughters; Mary Ann (Randy) Jester, Westport, Lisa Mae Lee, Greensburg, 4 brothers; Charles Lee, Rushville, Kevin Lee, Rushville, Brian Lee, Greensburg, Mark Moore, Rushville, 2 sisters; Liz Crain, Rushville, Kelly Kennedy, Rushville, 4 grandchildren; Nikki Lambert, Aaron Lanane, Kaleb Lee, and Cory Collins, and 4 great grandchildren; Olivia Lambert, Addyson Lanane, Kori Parsons, and Aidan Parsons. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with an memorial service at 7:30 p.m. for family and friends to share their memories of Jerry. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Pastor Jon Porter officiating. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana with military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion Post 129. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
