Robert "Bob" White, Jr., 78, Greensburg, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg.
Born, October 12, 1932 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Robert Samuel White and Mary (Montgomery) Washburn.
He was a self employed contractor and also had worked several years at KOVA Fertilizer.
He had attended the Rodney Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the Army serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by one son, Roy Mark White, Westport; three daughters, Rebecca (Tom) Creech, Westport, Rita Lynn Williams, Westport, Patty (Steve) Curry, Seymour; one brother, Ron Washburn, Greensburg; one sister, Wilma Ruth Marlow, Greensburg; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles White; three sisters, Linda Jones, Dorothy White, Kathryn Miller; one great grandchild, Piper Flynn.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Wenholz officiating.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the Sandcreek Cemetery in Greensburg.
Memorials may be made to the Heritage House of Greensburg or to the Alzheimers Association.
