Thomas E. Boyce, Sr.

Thomas Eugene Boyce, Sr., 56, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Hospice of St. Vincent in Indianapolis. Born, January 14, 1955 in Greensburg, he was the son of Buck and Ollie (Godby) Boyce. Thomas spent 32 years as a machinist at Acro Engineering. He enjoyed watching a good thunderstorm, helping out local farmers with mechanical repairs, and playing with his four legged friends, Buster, his cat and Bubba, his dog. Thomas is survived by one daughter; Jackie (Kenny) Diekhoff, Westport, two sons; Thomas Boyce, Jr. and Travis Boyce both of Greensburg, three grandchildren; Naaman, Abby, and Emma, two brothers; Andy and Cliffy Boyce, and four sisters; Lily, Dorthy, Betty Lou, and Sheree. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother; Harold Boyce. Visitation will be from 2-6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2010 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. No public funeral services will be held. Memorials may be made to Hospice or to the Alzheimer's Association.
