Lillie Glenn Collins, 95, Greensburg, stepped into heaven at 5:42 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at her residence. Born, May 3, 1915 at her cherished home on Scoby St., the only daughter of Isaac "Ike" and Cara (McKim) Minary. Lillie lived in this home most of her life. After her husband's passing in October 2009, Lillie had friends Mary Ann Crawley and Doris Fasbinder who became her caregivers. Then one year ago on March 19, 2010 Lillie's oldest granddaughter Vicky Bryan arrived to give 24/7 care, giving up her job, car, and family to support her beloved "mammal". Lillie was a homemaker, caregiver and took in ironings for many years. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church. She was married to her beloved husband, Wilford "Buck" Collins on June 28, 1954 in Connersville. She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn Jane (Broadus) Gates, Hillard, Fl.; two step daughters, Anna Jo (Collins) Patton, Wilkesboro, NC, Treva Sue (Collins) Leonard, Indianapolis; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Hershel, James and Lotus "Bud" Minary; one infant son and infant daughter. Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Rev. Robb Barlow officiating. Interment will be held in the Union Baptist Cemetery in Decatur Co., Indiana.
