Jerry A. Land

Jerry A. Land, 69, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis. Born, August 8, 1941 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Charles P. and Emma Mae (Lawrence) Land. He was married to Donna L. Taylor on November 5, 1965 and she survives. Jerry had served in the Army. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion Post 129 both of Greensburg. Jerry worked as a custodian for South Decatur School for many years and he also worked for Harvest Market in Greensburg. He is survived by his wife; one son, Jerry Allen Land, Lafayette; two step-sons, James D. Brewer, California, Vernon J. Brewer, Seymour; two brothers, Charles Land, Greensburg, John Land, Greensburg; several grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William Land. Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Keith Dover officiating. Interment will be held in the Milford Cemetery in Milford, Indiana.
