T. Eugene Moore, 87, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at his residence.
Eugene was born on February 26, 1924 to Charles and Hazel (Roach) Moore in Rush County.
Eugene was a lifelong farmer along with owning and operating Moore's Salvage Yard. He was a member of the Star Baptist Church.
He was married to Shirley A. Scudder on March 2, 1974 and she survives.
Other survivors include three sons; David (Sandy) Moore, Greensburg, Steve (Kathy) Moore, Greensburg, Gary Foley, California, two daughters; Tammy (Rick) Ramsey, Shelbyville, Kammy (Bret) Sullivan, Shelbyville, one brother; Jack Moore, Greensburg, two sisters; Marcia Steek, Arizona, Joann Werdine, Michigan City, IN, 4 grandchildren; Tamara (Nick) Kuntz, Greenwood, Alissa Burkhart, Decatur County, Nathan (Rachael) Brockman, Shelbyville, and Ethan Brockman, Shelbyville, 4 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Donald Moore, and two sisters; Maxine Trout and Marian Moore.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Burial will follow in Star Baptist Cemetery in Decatur County.
