Helen B. Whitaker

Helen B. Whitaker, 78, of Greensburg, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Helen was born on February 1, 1933 in Squib, Kentucky to W. Henry and Bertha Mae (Adams) Whitaker. Helen worked at Garrett Garment Company and GECOM in Greensburg, and the International Furniture Co. in Rushville. She is survived by one brother; Connie Whitaker, Cincinnati, OH; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Lonnie E, Roy, and Coy Whitaker, three sisters; Olive Fonnie Whitaker, Tevis Marie Whitaker and Fannie Mearl Whitaker. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Brother Perry Fouts officiating. Interment will be held in South Park Cemetery.
