Richard Lee Harsh

Richard Lee Harsh, 65, Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born, December 9, 1946 in Batesville, he was the son of Roy and Dorothy (Roberts) Harsh. Richard graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1964. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was married to Carol Hartman on October 7, 1972 and she survives. Richard is survived by his wife, two sons; Justin Harsh, Greensburg, Jonathan Harsh, Greensburg, two daughters; Denise (Dave) Lawrence, Greensburg, Jodi (Jeff) Asher, Greensburg, two brothers; Roger (Linda) Harsh, Durham, N.C., Gary (Mary) Harsh, Laurel, In., one sister; Rosalie (Richard) Baker, Connersville, In., and 5 grandchildren; Addison Asher, Olivia Lawrence, Alyea Lawrence, Jaydon Harsh, and Kaitlyn Harsh. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Richard Baker officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s School.
