Peggy J. Zeigler

Peggy Jane Zeigler, 78, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born March 3, 1933 in Rushville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harry E. and Letha M. (Ball) Clark. She was married to Ralph M. Zeigler on April 8, 1950 in Rushville and he survives. She worked briefly at General Electric and then as a homemaker. Peggy had been active in Delta Theta Tau Sorority and in her children's schools as a volunteer. She loved dancing and she and Ralph had been members of the Eagles, Moose, and Redmen. She is also survived by two sons, John M. (Megann) Zeigler, New Mexico, Don M. Zeigler, New Mexico; one daughter, Connie J. Zeigler, Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Zachary Simmonds; one niece, Cindy McDaniel. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Clark, Harry Clark, Jr; three sisters, Dorothy Dalrymple, Mary McDaniel, Betty Brown. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Interment will be held in the East Hill Cemetery, Rushville, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of South Central Indiana.
