Sharon K. Godbey

Sharon K. Godbey, 68, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the her residence. Born August 28, 1943 in Decatur County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harry R. "Dick" and Helen L. (Moore) Garrett. She graduated from Greensburg High School in 1961. She had worked for the Bartholomew County Schools with the hearing impaired for 20 years. She had also worked for Delta Faucet, the YMCA and Totally You in Greensburg. She was married to Larry Godbey on August 4, 1962 and he survives. She is also survived by her father, Harry "Dick" Garrett, Greensburg and one son, Richard Z. (Shirley) Godbey, Adams. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Garrett and one son, Jay Thomas Godbey. Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Glenn Seaman officiating. Interment will be held in the Hebron Cemetery in Adams, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of South Central Indiana.
