Debra Kay "Debbie" Land, 53, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Born April 23, 1958 in Evansville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles A. and Beverly (Van Bibber) Marshall.
Debbie had worked for fifteen years as a bookkeeper for Acra Automotive and Batesville Chrysler. Then for five years she had owned and operated Henningsen's Flowers in Greensburg. She was a member of the Community Church. She graduated from Greensburg High School in 1976.
She was married to Garry Land on November 26, 1977 and he survives.
She is also survived by her mother, Beverly Marshall, Greensburg; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Alma Land, Greensburg; three children, Shawn (Valerie) Land, Greensburg, Stacie (Ricky) Gilmore, Greensburg, Kyle Land, Greensburg; eight siblings, Mike (Sandy) Marshall, Corydon, Kevin (Vietta) McKenzie, Greensburg, Darlene (Bobby) Whitlock, Chandler, Cathy Marshall, Evansville, Lisa (Fred) Eddelman, Greensburg, Crystal (Forrest) Michael , Greensburg, Tiger Riedeman (Summer Wall) Greensburg, Cindy Winchester (fiancé Dave Fransico) Hope; three grandchildren, Cadence Land, Charlee Land, Trenton Land; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 2-6:00 p.m. Saturday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funerals and Cremations in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Jon Porter officiating.
