Betty J. Maynard

Betty J. Maynard, 86, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Crown Pointe Senior Living Community in Greensburg. Born, February 8, 1926 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Frank L. and Hattie (Cleaver) Clark. Betty was married to Geoffrey “John” Maynard on November 22, 1947 and he preceded her in death on May 20, 2010. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greensburg, Betty is survived by two sons; Jon (Debbie) Maynard, New Palestine, Randall (Vicki) Maynard, Pendleton, one brother; Charles Clark of Anderson, three grandchildren; Samantha Maynard, Peter Hunter, and Chad Hunter, and two great-grandchildren; Lila and Maya Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother; Robert Clark, and one sister; Glenda Koeneman. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Mark Vice officiating. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Crown Pointe Senior Living Community Activities Fund.
