Rosemary Bruns

Rosemary C. Bruns, 83, Millhousen, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at her residence. Born October 6, 1928 in North Vernon, Indiana, she was the daughter of Leo and Irene (Riplinger) Lee. She graduated from North Vernon High School. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the St. Ann's Society. She was a volunteer for the Decatur County Memorial Hospital and the Immaculate Conception Church. She was married to Ralph C. Bruns on October 4, 1950 and he survives. She is also survived by six daughters, Janie (Thomas Sterrett) Bruns, Shelbyville, Kay (Terry) Maddux, Paducah, KY, Linda (Thomas) Burns, Indianapolis, Sandy (David) Dunbar, Westfield, Susie (Scott) Jost, Noblesville, Karen (Ed) Kauffeld, Wilton, CT; sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Richard Lee, Lawrence Lee, Herb Lee, Walter Lee; one sister, Virginia Strope. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Friday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funerals and Cremations in Greensburg and from 1-2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church. A public rosary service will be held on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen with Rev. John Geis officiating. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) Research, Hospice of South Central Indiana or to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
