Marie Martin, 83, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Morning Breeze in Greensburg.
Born May 21, 1929 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ed and Frances (Moorman) Fisse.
She graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1947. She then attended the Versailles Industrial School and studied to be a seamstress. She then worked as a seamstress, cleaned houses, worked at the local canning factory and then worked for seven years at the Batesville Casket Co. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed Cooking and traveling.
She was married to Randall D. Martin on August 30, 1958 and he survives. Randall and Marie made their home in Napoleon for over forty years prior to moving to Greensburg.
She is also survived by one brother, Charles (Eileen) Fisse, Greensburg; two sisters, Judy Muckerheide, Greensburg, Ellen (Lee) Wallace, Collinsville, IL.; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Greensburg. A public rosary service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery.
