Edmund A. Wenning, 88, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born, April 12, 1924 in Millhousen, he was the son of John T. and Josephine (Mauer) Wenning. He had been a dairy farmer most of his life. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen. He was married to Vera Cranford on August 22, 1956 and she survives. He is also survived by one son, Paul (Sandra) Wenning, Greensburg; one daughter, Rose Marie (Thurman) Cook, Hartford City; one sister, Hilda Garrison, Urbana, Ohio; six grandchildren, Elizabeth (Kyle) Holland, Thomas Wenning, Sarah Wenning, Joseph Wenning, Kevin Cook, Brian Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David John Wenning; one brother, Everett Wenning; two sisters, Helen Hoeing, Bernice Hessler. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen. A public rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
