Ann L. Stepleton, 85, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg.
Born July 25, 1927 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Raymond Anderson and Pansy B. (Mauck) Reed.
She worked as a bookkeeper for the Union Bank and Trust and then for KOVA Fertilizer in Greensburg. She had also been a caregiver for several people in the community.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Greensburg, the Greensburg Senior Center and was a past president of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority.
She is survived by one daughter, Paulane L. Butler, Carbon, In; three sons, Charles W. Stepleton, Nashville, TN., John K. Stepleton, Houma, La., David D. Stepleton, Greensburg; one sister, Emily J. Gilchrist, Hopewell, Va.; two grandchildren, Ronald L. King, Carbon, In., Ashly Falgut, Houma, La.; one nephew, Dennis Gilchrist, Hopewell, Va.; three great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 1-5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Gregory Pimlott officiating.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.
Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or to the YMCA in Greensburg.
