Milie Lear Standish

Milie Lear Standish, 91, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born April 24, 1921 in Kittery, Maine, she was the daughter of Edward and Lillian (Lear) Standish. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the New Albany Chapter of the Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by two nephews, James (Nancy) Barnett, Memphis, In, Charles McGeoch, Arizona; three nieces, Jamesa (Tim) Sells, Sellersburg, In., Mabyn Oldham, Sanford, Fl., Mary Rullo, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Alexander Standish; two sisters, Mabyn Barnett, Ellen McGeoch. Visitation will be from 9-10:00 a.m. Friday at the Arbor Grove Nursing Home in Greensburg. A service will be held from 10 to 10:15 a.m. on Friday at the nursing home with Pastor Paul Wenning officiating. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
