William E. "Bill" Stuehrenberg

William D. “Bill” Stuehrenberg, 53, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at his residence in Greensburg. Born, March 3, 1959 in Decatur County, he was the son of Frank H. Stuehrenberg, Jr. and Martha (Davis) Stuhrenberg. Bill graduated from Jennings County High School in 1977. He worked road construction for Milestone for 27 years. He was a member of the St. Dennis Catholic Church in Decatur County. Bill loved to hunt and fish and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his family greatly and one of his favorite hobbies was teasing his nieces and nephews. He was marrie to Julia K. Cooper on September 1, 1990. Bill is survived by his wife and two labs; Opy and Hershey, two brothers; Jerry (Nancy) Stuehrenberg, Greensburg, Tom (Angie) Stuehrenberg, Cross Plains, IN, one sister; Diana (Yogi) Bare, St. Paul, IN, 5 sisters-in-law; Suzie (Alan) Nonte, Jasper, IN, Nanci (Mike) Tindall, Greensburg, Ginger (Bill) Ryle, Greensburg, Judy Stuehrenberg, North Vernon, Theresa Stuehrenberg, Greensburg, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, three brothers; David E. Stuehrenberg, Frank K. Stuehrenberg III, Dale “Shorty” Stuehrenberg, and grandparents; Frank & Elvera Stuenrenberg, Sr., Frances Davis Craft, and William “Bill” Davis. Visitation will be from 2-6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen with Rev. Bill Turner officiating. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen. Memorials may be made to P.A.A.I.N (People Assisting Animals in Need).
