Thomas A. Decker

Thomas A. Decker, 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at his residence in Greensburg. Born, August 13, 1941 in Batesville, he was the son of Howard and Matilda (Voegele) Decker. Tom married Karen Smock on August 25, 1962 and she survives. Tom had recently retired as a group leader from Delta Faucet where he had worked for 35 years. One of Tom’s greatest loves in life was his grandchildren. He cherished fishing with his grandson and loved to go shopping with his granddaugher. Tom was loved dearly by his family and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, two daughters; Tracey (Thomas) Miller, St. Paul, IN, Tammy Decker, Colorado, two grandchildren; Tyler and Katie Miller, St. Paul, IN, three brothers; David Decker, Batesville, Tony Decker, Arizona, Eric Decker, Ohio, five sisters; Mary Meyer, Arizona, Cathy Conrad, Batesville, Tania Myers, Batesville, Rebecca Ostholthoff, Versailles, and Talia Wagner, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother; Mike Decker. No public services will be held.
