Josephine C. Weatherl

Josephine C. Weatherl, 94, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born, March 19, 1918 in Decatur County, she was the daughter of George and Margaret (Harpring) Greiwe. Josephine was a former Air Line employee and traveled around the country with her husband. She graduated from Greensburg High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She is survived by one sister; Sister OSF Ruth Greiwe, Oldenburg, In., several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers; Carl Greiwe, Raymond Greiwe, Bernard Greiwe, Al Greiwe, and 3 sisters; Leona Zepf, Olivia Greiwe, and Bertha Greiwe. A Rosary Service will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Visitation following until 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Church Building Fund.
