Jason R. Mcbeath

Jason R. McBeath, 41, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 1, 1971, the son of Bill and Meredith (Eowns) McBeath. He was a self employed contractor and he graduated from East Central High School in 1989. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp. He was married to Sharanne Vanderpohl on July 15, 2006 and she survives. Other survivors include his father, Bill, Sanibel, Florida; two sons, Erik and Deven Mitchell, Greensburg; one sister, Kimberly (Mike) Crawley, Greensburg; Father and mother-in-law, Bob and Sharanne Duerstock, Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Steven McBeath. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Danny Wolford officiating. Interment will be held in the Yorkville Cemetery in Sunman, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the McBeath Family Trust Fund or donations of blood may be made in his honor at any blood center.
