Phyllis J. Bowling

Phyllis J. Bowling, 85, Greensburg, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born, February 3, 1928 in Shelbyville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Roscoe William and Fern Lucille (Metz) Kincade. She had worked for the Bill and Edie Harvey family in Naples, Florida for fourteen years. She was a member of the Greensburg Country Club and the VFW ladies auxiliary in Naples, Florida. She was married to Calvin R. Bowling on April 20, 1946 and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2010. She is survived by one son, David R. Bowling, Osgood; three daughters, Linda L. Langford, Salisbury, NC, Nancy J. (Stephen O.) Binkley, Greensburg, Dinah K. Hoge, Naples, Fl.; two brothers, Dick Kincade, Lakeland, Fl., Paul Kincade, Aurora; three sisters, Alice Blodgett, Hope, Lois Domeland, Aurora, Mary Ann Blair, Louisville, KY; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one daughter, Gloria Ann Holton; three brothers, Bobby Kincade, Bill Kincade, Jim Kincade; one sister, Patty Patrick. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Keith Dover officiating. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Association.
