Robert A. "Bob" Wood

Robert A. “Bob” Wood, 58, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his residence.  Bob was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky on August 25, 1955 to John L. and Norma (Peele) Wood.  Bob joined the Navy after high school and served his country until he was honorably discharged in 1979.  He was employed at Delta Faucet, where he had worked for over 35 years.  Bob was a member of the American Legion Post 129 and the Moose Lodge in Greensburg.  He was married to Marjorie “Margie” Kramer on May 13, 1978, and she survives.  Bob is survived by his wife, three sons; Scott (Angela) Wood, North Vernon, John (Christie) Wood, Greensburg, Jesse Wood, Greensburg, one brother; Ricky Lee (Penny) Wood, Greensburg, two sisters; Kay Fowler, Georgia, Linda Tice, Kentucky, and 12 grandchildren.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents.  Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Funeral Services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2014 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Rev. John Meyer officiating.  Military funeral rites will be held at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Church Building Fund.
