Steven L. "Steve" Hampton

Steven L. “Steve” Hampton, 50, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Columbus Regional Hospital.  Steve was born in Scottsburg, Indiana on June 12, 1964 to Robert C. Hampton and Juanita (Hannum) McCullough.  Steve had previously worked for KB Foods, he was a former cook at the Greensburg Country Club, and he worked at Waffle House in Greensburg.  He is survived by his mother and step-father; Juanita (Joseph) McCullough, Greensburg, companion; Nancy Banks, Greensburg, 4 brothers; Donnie Hampton, Greensburg, Bill (Helen) Hampton, Greensburg, Robert (Jackie) Hampton, Biloxi, Mississippi, Brian (Karla) McCullough, Greensburg, 6 sisters; Deborah White, Greensburg, Terry Brown, Shelbyville, Connie Reed, Greensburg, Barb (Robert) Wood, Greensburg, Nancy Davis, Shelbyville, Brandy Remmler, St. Paul, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father; Robert C. Hampton.  Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29 at 1 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Rev. John Mattern officiating.  Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at Westport Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to the family.
