Mary M. Dickman

Mary M. Dickman, 60, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at her residence in Greensburg. Born February 12, 1954 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Raymond Gilbert and Lena (Hooten) Porter. Mary graduated from Greensburg High School in 1972. She worked in the Decatur County Courthouse as the Deputy Auditor. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was married to Dennis Richard Dickman on October 15, 1977 and he survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Sarah (Scott) Saylor, Greensburg; Father and Mother-in-law, Richard & Irene Dickman, Batesville; sister and brother-in-laws, Karen and Dave Snuffer, Shelbyville, Mara and Steve Kruthaupt, Batesville, Ellen and Jeff Paul, Oldenburg, Sheilia and Tim Merkel, Ohio, Geralyn and Gary Litzinger, Oldenburg, Colleen and Greg Doll, Batesville, Carmen and Gary Belter, Batesville, Nancy and Gus Kinker, Greensburg, Ann and Tim Sweeney, Greensburg, Daniel and Rhonda Dickman, Batesville; 30 nieces and nephews; two great nephews; one grandson soon to be born. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gilbert Dale Porter; one sister, Barbara Jean Porter; one brother-in-law, Brian J. Dickman. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A public rosary service will be held on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 9-10:00 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Building Fund or to the Margaret Mary Health Foundation Hospice.
