Mary E. Demoss

Mary E. DeMoss, 87, Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg.  Mary was born in Decatur County on December 16, 1926 to Joseph Franklin and Anna Laura (Meredith) Bruner.  She graduated from Sandusky High School.  Mary was a member of the Sandusky United Methodist Church.  Mary married John William DeMoss on February 2, 1948 and he preceded her in death on September 7, 1994.  Mary spent most of her life farming and raising her children as a homemaker.  She is survived by two sons; Kirk (Sarah) DeMoss, Luguna Vista, TX, Jay (Libby) DeMoss, Cumming, GA, one daughter; Jan DeMoss, Greensburg, and two grandchildren; Kyle and Erin DeMoss.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers; Carlos Edward Bruner, Charles Marshall Bruner, Rollin Elbert Bruner, and two sisters; Hazel Lucille Ray, and Louise Wentzel.  Family and friends are invited to the Bruner Family Pond for a memorial service on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to Sandusky United Methodist Church through Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.
