Elenita J. Brattain

Elenita (Guyne) Brattain, 81, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus with her children by her side. Born October 11, 1932 in Martinsville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Arthur and Margaret (Good) Guyne. She is survived by her children, Mahlon (Kathy) Brattain, Jimmy (Cindy) Brattain, Jane Ann (Arthur) Niles, Bobby Brattain; sister, Gelena Brattain; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She loved her children and grandchildren, they were her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Vernon; one sister, Vera. Special thanks is given by the family to the Crown Point staff as Elenita thought of them as part of her family. A special thank you also goes to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana for the wonderful care she received. Private Graveside services will be held for the family at a later time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
