Claude "Joe" Lozier

Claude “Joe” Lozier, 67, of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at his residence.  Joe was born in Greensburg on November 4, 1947 to Louis J. and Margaret E. (Shafer) Lozier.  After graduating from high school, Joe joined the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam War.  Joe was a self-employed plumber for over 30 years in Greensburg.  Joe loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.  He was married to Diana Swegman on April 20, 1968 and she survives.  Joe is also survived by one son; Brian (Robin) Lozier, Greensburg, one daughter; Lisa Herd, Greensburg, three brothers; Dale (Sandy) Lozier, Dayton, OH, Ralph (Polly Lovegrove) Lozier, Greensburg, Woody Lozier, Greensburg, and three grandchildren; Brittany Lozier, Jeremy Herd, Logan (Whitney) Herd, all of Greensburg.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Visitation will be from 11 am – 2 pm on Wednesday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Funeral services will follow visitation on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel May officiating.  Interment and military graveside rites will be held at South Park Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to Hospice.
