Jim Edward Fowler

Jim Edward Fowler, 46, formerly of Greensburg now living in Westport, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on September 20, 1968 in Fort Stewart, Georgia to Don and Linda Fowler. Jim spent most of his life in Lexington, Kentucky managing hotels. He also managed hotels in Louisiana, Georgia and later in Indiana. He loved his family, his dogs, and had a passion for traveling and cooking. Jim's father Don, preceded him in death along with his grandparents, Harry and Leona Collins, and Henry and Leona Fowler. Survivors include his mother, Linda Fowler; brother, Darrin and his wife Debbie; two nieces, Katelynn and Kiersten Fowler; uncle, Richard Collins; many cousins. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Danny Wolford officiating. Memorials may be made to the Decatur County Animal Shelter.
