Betty C. Behlmer

Betty C. Behlmer, 72, Westport, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Our Hospice Facility in Columbus. Born July 8, 1942 in Premier, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Hiram and Minta (Frazier) Eldridge. She worked as a nurses aid at the I.O.O.F Home for several years and then for Home Health Care. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and Daughter of Isabella. She was married to Alfred Behlmer on December 18, 1971 and he survives. She is also survived by her husband, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters. Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Monday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Church Building Fund, the Westport Fire Department, or to Our Hospice of Decatur County.
