Kenneth O. McReynolds, 85, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Arbor Grove Village Nursing Home. Kenneth was born in Elbert, Colorado on November 16, 1929 to Russell and Gladys (Clibon) McReynolds. Kenneth attended school in Elbert, Colorado and graduated from High School in 1948. He then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was on active duty for 9 months. He worked at Cummins, in Columbus and graduated from Journeyman School at Columbus North while working for Cummins. He also worked for Chrysler and General Motors before retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. Marks Presbyterian Church in Elbert, Colorado, and he attended the First Church of God in Greensburg. Kenneth was married to Geraldine “Gerry” Owens on January 20, 1951 and she survives. Kenneth is also survived by 4 sons; Michael (Carolyn) McReynolds, Greensburg, Steven McReynolds, Greensburg, Tom McReynolds, Greensburg, James (Karen) McReynolds, Greensburg, 1 daughter; Karen (Philip) Hamilton, Greensburg, 17 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son; Ronald McReynolds, brother; Donald McReynolds, and 2 sisters; Frances McKim, and Ruth Harper. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Rev. John Mattern officiating. Interment and military graveside rites will follow at South Park Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
