Frances M. Hawkins

Frances M. “Polly” Hawkins, 89 of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.  She was born on March 22, 1925 in Oklahoma, the daughter of Ernest L. and Carolina Victoria (Gilbert) Hardgrave.  Polly was a homemaker for most of her life.  She was married to Delvin Roe Hawkins on August 2, 1952 in Fresno, California and he preceded her in death.  Polly is survived by two daughters; Carol Smith, Greensburg, Linda Brackett, Arizona, one brother; Wayman Hardgrave, one sister; Dorothy Morris, 5 grandchildren, and 13 great gradchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter; Shirley Evans, and several brothers and sisters.  Interment will be in California at a later date.
