Sandra Kay Blanford

Sandra Kay Blanford, 69, Greensburg, died Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Millersville, Tennessee.  Born December 22, 1945 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Jesse and Opal (Bryson) Burton.  Sandra worked at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg.  Sandra was married to Arthur L. Blanford on October 19, 1965 and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2010.  She is survived by three sons; John (Rhonda) Blanford, Millersville, TN, Terry Blanford, Only, TN, Art Blanford, Greensburg, two daughters; Julie Blanford, Millersville, TN, Patricia (Jeff) Jones, Greensburg, one sister; Marge (Vernon) Moody, Batesville, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Everett Lee Burton and Donald Ray Dyer, and sisters; Orpha Brogan, Rosalee Imel, Erma Couch, and Patricia Auger.  Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Friday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to the St. Mary’s Church Building Fund.
