Michael D. Caster

Michael D. Caster, 53, Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born, September 12, 1961 in Franklin, Indiana, he was the son of Melvin A. and Elizabeth (Greene) Caster. He graduated from South Decatur High School in 1978. He had worked at GECOM for over 15 years and then worked at Indiana Assembly's. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Emergency Management Services in Decatur County. He is survived by three daughters, Ashley (James Fisher) Kohl-Fisher, Osgood, Alisha Scudder, Osgood, Kendra Caster, Greensburg; two sons, Adrian Caster, Greensburg, Andrew Caster, Greensburg; one brother, Mark Caster, Louisville; one sister, Melinda Caster, Oldenburg; one half brother, Phillip Boyd, Bloomington; one half sister, Mildred Frannie (Fred) Shoopman, Greensburg; Bee Browning, mother of Andrew, Kendra and Alisha. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Melvin L. Caster. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Pastor Paul Wenning officiating. Interment will be held in the Booher Cemetery in Ripley County, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
