Ruth A. Thomas

Ruth A. Thomas, 73, Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at her residence.  Ruth was born in Richmond, IN on January 13, 1942 to Richard and Betty (Jones) Rife.  She graduated from Richmond High School in 1960 and was a member of the General Y-Teens, Mixed Bowling, Girls Bowling, Dance Club, and Deviletts while in school.  Ruth was retired after working for many years in Richmond as a graphic artist.  She is survived by 2 daughters; Carolyn (Kris) Hawkins, Coweta, OK, Dena (Larry) Sparks, Greensburg, 1 brother; Terry Rife, Walla Walla, WA, 1 sister; Jill Duckett, Richmond, IN, 3 grandchildren; Derrick (Julie) Hawkins, Broken Arrow, OK, Johnny Sparks, Greensburg, Haley Solomon, Connersville, IN, 1 great grandson; Owen Solomon, and her beloved dog; Abby.  Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and sister; Vicky Miralce.  Family and friends may call from 6-7 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Memorials can be made to Hospice.
