Dollie V. Mchenry

Dollie V. McHenry, 98, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born April 5, 1917 in London, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Andrew Richard and Louisa (Jones) Brown. She worked as a dance instructor at the Indiana Ball Room in Indianapolis. She then owned and operated Dollie Varden's Beauty Shop in Greensburg. She was married to Stanley L. McHenry and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; four brothers, Joe Brown, Tom Brown, James Brown, Gene Brown; three sisters, Butella Taylor, Estella Meadows, Josephine Shelton. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Frank R. Smith officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the Wofford Cemetery in Wofford, Kentucky. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
