Martha L. Stuhrenberg

March 28, 1932 — June 30, 2015

Martha Louise Stuhrenberg, 83, Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her residence in Greensburg.  Martha was born in Orange, Indiana on March 28, 1932 to William and Frances (Craft) Davis.  Martha worked in Health Care for 26 years. She started working in nursing homes in 1978. She received her degree in 1981 and became a CNA/QMA. She then worked in home health care as a visiting nurse.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen.  Martha was married to Frank H. Stuhrenberg, Jr. on November 26, 1949 and he preceded her in death on July 6, 1982.  She is survived by 2 sons; Jerry (Nancy) Stuehrenberg, Greensburg, Tom (Angie) Stuehrenberg, Cross Plains, IN, 1 daughter; Diana (Yogi) Bare, St. Paul, 3 daughters-in-law; Judy Stuehrenberg, North Vernon, Teresa Stuehrenberg, Greensburg, Julie Stuehrenberg, Greensburg, 3 sisters; Mary Biddle, Ft. Wayne, Betty Wall, Ft. Wayne, Shirley Rigby, Greensburg, 18 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sons; Dale, Frank III, David, and Bill Stuehrenberg, daughter-in-law; Patricia Stuehrenberg, 4 brothers; John, Harold, Bill, and Larry Davis, and 1 sister; Gwendolyn Bowen.  Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen.  Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen.  Memorials can be made to the Decatur County Hospice.
