Diana G. (Hersley) Heath Hankins, 73, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Shelbyville. Born August 9, 1941 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Floyd and Ruth (Shafer) Hersley. Diana was a loving mother and grandmother. She always put her family first. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren when they were younger. Diana was a past member of the Rushville VFW women's auxiliary club and she served graciously on the color guard. She participated in many parades and ceremonies. She also had a long career working in the restaurant management business and did catering for various clubs. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and loving dog, Ellie. She was married to Kelly J. Heath on August 11, 1956 and he preceded her in death. She is also survived by four children, Debora (Jeff) Hovious, Shelbyville, Judy (Garry) Lauziere, Shelbyville, Brenda (Richard) Gelinas, Rushville, Glen (Angie) Heath, Texas; two brothers, Larry Hersley, Greensburg, David Hersley, Greensburg; one sister, JoAnn Hornaday, Rushville; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two brothers, John Hersley, Richard Hersley; three sisters, Edith Lock, Betty Yorn, Joyce Clark. Visitation will be from 11-1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Mt. Aerie Cemetery in Letts. Memorials may be made to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
