Denise D. Barkdull

Denise D. Barkdull, 50, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2105 at the Hospice Inpatient Center in Columbus.  Born, February 13, 1965 in Marion County, she was the daughter of Charles and Marybelle (Owens) Duncan.  Denise graduated from South Decatur High School. She was a member of the Burney Baptist Church. Denise had previously worked as a teller for Mainsource Bank in Greensburg. Denise loved her family and her pets and she will be greatly missed by all of them.  She was married to Tommy Barkdull on May 7, 1988 and he survives.  Denise is also survived her parents; Charles and Marybelle Duncan, Greensburg, and two children; Tyler Barkdull, Greensburg, and Courtney Barkdull, Des Moines, IA.  She was preceded in death by one brother who died in infancy.  Visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home followed by a prayer service at 5 pm with Jon Porter officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
