Alfred "Gene" Dickson

Alfred E. "Gene" Dickson, 76, Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. He was born on December 31, 1938 in Greensburg, Indiana. Gene NTN-BCA in Greensburg. He was married to Dorothy Morton on May 15, 1960 in Greensburg and she survives. He is also survived by one son, Donald E. (Michelle) Dickson, Westport; four daughters, Becky (Paul) Thompson, Greensburg, Susan (David) Owens II, Greensburg, Polly (Robert) Gatlos, Pennsylvania, Penny (John) Wells, Knoxville, TN; one brother, Lester Mozingo; six sisters, Kay Low, Hartsville, Joyce Hessler, Westport, Marilyn Morton, Westport, Mildred LeMaster, Westport, Donna Sullivan, Milford, Helen Wamsley, Greensburg; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Mozingo; step father, Russell Mozingo; four brothers, Benton "Bud" Mozingo, Russell "Sonny" Mozingo, Jim Mozingo, Kenneth Mozingo; two sisters, Ruth Tempest, Rosemary Oliver. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Union Baptist Cemetery in Decatur County. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
