Romilda C. "Millie" Burkhart

Romilda “Millie” C. Burkhart, 84, passed away October 16, 2015 at Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg.  She was born February 8, 1931 in Hamburg to George and Anna Mae (Harpring) Koetter.  Millie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg.  She was married to Richard J. Burkhart on November 21, 1950 and he survives.  Millie is also survived by 7 sons; Ken (Debbie) Burkhart, Greensburg, Ron (Diana) Burkhart, Columbus, John (Sue) Burkhart, Greensburg, Larry Burkhart, Greensburg, Charlie (Lee Ann) Burkhart, Greensburg, Mark Burkhart, Greensburg, and Daniel (Susan) Burkhart, Greensburg, 14 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Arthur J. and Alphonse Koetter, sister; Josephine Artmeier, and twin sisters; Anna Mae and Frieda Ann Koetter.  Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with a rosary service starting at 3:30pm.  Visitation will also be held from 9-10 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am with Rev. John Meyer officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary’s Church Building Fund.
