Maurice D. Hoeing, 87, Sandusky, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg.
Born, March 31, 1928 in Decatur County, he was the son of Joseph B. and Agnes Marie (Butz) Hoeing.
Maurice was an interior & exterior decorator for many years. He also farmed. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He loved God, family, friends, and the great outdoors.
He was married to Roselyn C. Raver on September 14, 1957 in Enochsburg and she preceded him in death on June 25, 2015.
He is survived by two sons, Ron Hoeing, Columbus, Wayne (Lori) Hoeing, Carmel; two daughters, Barb (Rick) Bullard, St. Paul, Nancy (William) Fogg, Greensburg; four brothers, Carroll (Dottie) Hoeing, Sheldon (Mary) Hoeing, Alfred (Millie) Hoeing, Jerome (Kathleen) Hoeing; three sisters, Dorine (Paul) Rosfeld, Delores Bruns, Marieda (Jim) Koors; 8 grandchildren, Mandy (Jeremy) Grant, Kirk Bullard, Sarah Hoeing, Anna Hoeing, Ben Hoeing, Aaron Fogg, Maria Fogg, Christina Fogg; two great grandsons, Carson and Caden Grant.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dale Hoeing; one brother, Marvin Hoeing.
Family and friends will gather at 3:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home to pray the rosary. Visitation will follow the rosary until 7:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg.
Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Church Building Fund.
