Donna L. Land

Donna L. Land, 79, Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at St. Anthony's Health Care in Lafayette. Born May 5, 1936 in Oklahoma, she was the daughter of George W. and Opal Ann (Beck) Taylor. Donna had worked for several years at the Greensburg Community Schools. She had also been active in the American Legion Auxiliary. She was married to Jerry A. Land on November 5, 1965 and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2011. She is survived by three sons, Jerry (Kristi Ann) Land, Lafayette, Jay (Martha) Brewer, Seymour, James (Ruth) Taylor, Los Angeles, CA; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; three brothers, Bob, Bud, and Jack Taylor; one sister, Shirley Stokely. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 to 11:00 a.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the funeral home with Dan Coblentz officiating. Interment will be held in the Milford Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
