Marsha Jean Willis Black, 68, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at her residence. Born March 26, 1947, she was the daughter of Rev. O.W. and Norma Jean (Decker) Willis. Marsha was an art teacher at St. Mary's School in Greensburg for over 25 years. She retired in 1998. She was a member of the Greensburg Wesleyan Church. Marsha had attended Odessa Community College in Michigan, St. Mary's of the Woods, Oakland City College, Evansville University and then received her Master's Degree at IUPUI, Columbus in 1981. She was married to Richard L. Black on August 6, 1966 and he survives. She is also survived by her father, Rev. O.W. Willis, Noblesville; one son, William Richard (Kim Fromer) Black, Greensburg; two brothers, Aaron Paul Willis, Marion, Steve Willis, Leavenworth, IN; three sisters, Millicent Thompson, Anderson, Carol Ann Bowden, Westfield, Debra Andrews, Florida; two grandson, Cody Richard (Elizabeth Ann) Black, Greensburg, Colten Lee Black, Greensburg; five great grandchildren, Samuel Cole and Sophia Grace Black, Carter, Alana, and Chesney Griffin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Willis and one brother-in-law, William Thompson. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 to 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Aaron Paul Willis officiating. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation.
