Mary Rose Brogan, 63, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at her residence in Greensburg. Born May 9, 1952 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Harold E. and Rose C. (Dwenger) Powers. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and cheering on her favorite driver, Jimmy Johnson. She also enjoyed hearing and counting how many times her grandson's name was called on the radio during high school football games. She retired from Print Pak in 2011 after working there for many years. She was married to John Dennis Brogan on October 14, 1972 and he survives. She is also survived by two sons, Daniel Eugene (Shannan) Brogan, Vevay, David Scott (Angela Dawn) Brogan, Greensburg; three daughters, Shirley (Scott W.) Wilson, Greensburg, Jennifer Denise (John Christopher Thornton) Brogan, Greensburg, Kayla Richelle (Clayton) Ainscough, Greensburg; five brothers, Harold "Tony" (Norita) Powers, St. Paul, Donald (Dawn) Powers, Ghent, KY, Art (Christine) Powers, Sandusky, Andy (Dawn) Powers, Greensburg, Jacob (Vicki) Powers, Illinois; two sisters, Angela Miller, Greensburg, Dot Perkins, Clay City; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Raymond Powers; three sisters, Rita Sallee, Mabel Kay Yorn, Susan Wilmer. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Care Center in Columbus, Indiana.
