Malva Sue (Brown) Henderson

Malva Sue (Brown) Henderson, 81, Greensburg passed away on April 22, 2016 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.  Sue was born on September 23, 1934 in Butler County, Ohio to William Taylor and Edna Marie (Smith) Ponder.  Sue worked various jobs over the years, but most of her time was spent taking care of her home and raising her children.  Sue was married to Lowell “Tom” Henderson in Hamilton, OH on April 15, 1994 and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2014.  Sue is survived by three sons; David (Norma) Brown, Greensburg, Dennis (Sindy Trusty) Brown, New Palestine, Daryel (Michelle Lucas) Brown, Westport, two daughters; Karen (Mark) Ricketts, Greensburg, Kathy (Greg “Cowboy” Coffman) Brown, Phoenix, AZ, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 sisters, and 1 brother.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4:00pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Vice officiating.  Burial will follow at Rossburg Cemetery in New Point.  Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association.
