Alfred J. Feldman, 70, Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
Born, July 1, 1938 in Greensburg, he was the son of Edward B. and Clara (Lamberding) Feldman, and his step-mother was Clara Scheidler Feldman.
Alfred was married to Paulene Striecker on October 7, 1959 and she survives.
He was retired from Bohn Aluminum and was also a retired farmer. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen, the Knights of Columbus, the Eagles Lodge #927, and the American Legion Post 129.
He is survived by his wife, two sons; Richard B. Feldman, Greensburg, Ron J. (Patricia A.) Feldman, Osgood, one daughter; Debbie A. (Ross) Bergman, Sunman, 5 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and 7 step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; James Feldman, Urban Feldman, and one sister; Kathleen Witkemper.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A public rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen with Rev. Robert Hankee officiating.
Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen, Indiana.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
