Victoria Ruth Richards, 18, Napoleon, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born, June 14, 1990 in Batesville, she was the daughter of Howard Steven and Carolyn J. (McCullough) Richards.
Victoria was a senior at Jac-Cen-Del High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, a five year member of the Flag Team, a member of the Drama Club and Art Club. She had been a member of the Tree County Players for several years. She was a member of the St. Maurice Catholic Church in Napoleon.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Richards, Napoleon; two brothers, Jacob Howard (Carla) Richards, Westport, Lucas Steven Richards, Napoleon; one sister, Sarah Alyse (Garric) Folsom, Westport; grandmother, Anna McCullough, Greensburg; step grandmother, Janice Deffenbaugh, Hume, Il.; one aunt living with the family, Kim Isaacs, and several other Aunts and Uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 3-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A public rosary will be prayed at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the St. Maurice Catholic Church in Napoleon with Rev. Rob Hankee officiating.
Interment will be held in the St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery in Napoleon, Indiana.
Memorials may be made to Victoria’s favorite charity the Decatur County Relay for Life.
