Luella M. Land

Luella M. Land, 74, Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Indiana Heart Center in Indianapolis. Born, June 29, 1934 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Howard L. Buell and Virginia Ellen (Everroad) Ramer.   Luella had worked at the IGA for several years.  She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary in Greensburg. She was married to Ralph E. Land on June 24, 1950 and he survives. She is also survived by one son, Chuck Land, Greensburg; one daughter, Terry Graue, Greensburg; four brothers, Charles Buell, Greensburg, Larry “Butch” Buell, Greensburg, Gary Ramer, Greensburg, Kevin Ramer, Greensburg; four sisters, Linda Hatton, Middletown, Oh., Nina Kessler, Columbus, Barbara Elliott, Portland, Or., Jacqueline Osborne, Greensburg; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Virginia “Jenny” (Jones) Buell; one brother Danny Buell; one grandchild, Michelle Birch. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.    Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Jon Porter officiating. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Decatur County Hospice.
